"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in." -- Rachel Carson
Our mission at Nature Tales and Trails is to connect children and adults to the natural world through storytelling, classroom talks, and nature walks. These programs, based on our books and experiences working with animals around the world, inspire participants to make a difference in their world starting in their school or community and encourage them to safely discover nature in their neighborhoods.
