Nature Tales and Trails has been on the road since February 2020, gathering more animal adventures for future books, movies, and storytelling.



Dr. “D” and Dr. Tim (a.k.a. BugMan) continue their lifelong commitment in getting others interested in nature by developing & presenting interpretive programs at national wildlife refuges and state parks around the U.S.

Our current offerings through Henrys Lake State Park in Island Park, Idaho

NOTE: These programs are FREE to campers and day-use visitors.

Friday         10:00 am - Wildflower Wander

Saturday       8:30 am - Avian Adventure

                      6:30 pm - True Tales Storytelling

Sunday          9:00 am - The Nature Games

                    10:00 am - Insect Safari

Dr. “D” also helps develop and promote Junior Ranger and B.A.R.K. Ranger Programs. Dr. Tim is working on documenting the flora and fauna at Henrys Lake State Park in Island Park, Idaho.

We hope our enthusiasm will inspire the people we meet to help preserve the lands, animals, and plants here in the U.S. and around the world.
